Het eiland Boa Vista is vrij vlak, vroeger was het net zoals de rest van Kappverdie groen, maar door de klimaatverandering is helaas woestijnachtig geworden. Weer is heel stabiel, heerlijke temperaturen het gehele jaar door.

Het eiland Boa Vista is woestijnachtig, hier in de woestijn een oase met palmbomen en een waterput. Ook een kudde muilezels troffen we hier aan tussen de zandduinen.
